Werner Deinert
Werner Deinert (born September 23, 1931 in Berlin ; † March 9, 2010 ibid) was a German musician ( trumpet , trombone , saxophone , piano ) and orchestra leader who made a name for himself in both jazz and light music.
Deinert studied from 1943 at the Berlin University of Music . In 1948 he founded an octet with which he appeared in the Berlin dance palaces, but also in US clubs and recorded records for Metrophon, including his own titles such as "Mohrchens Boogie". In 1960 he dissolved his orchestra and then worked as a soloist with the Berlin Police Orchestra.
In 1985 Deinert founded the Police Singers, a women's choir of the Berlin police.
Werner Deinert was the uncle of the musician Pivo Deinert .
