Werner Ehrig
Werner Ehrig (born April 22, 1897 in Eibenstock , † January 31, 1981 in Oldenburg ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Ehrig served as an officer in the First World War . After the war he switched to the Reichswehr . During the Second World War, he was in command of the 340th Infantry Division and the 544th Infantry Division . He was released from captivity in 1948.
