Werner Hilff

Werner Hilff (born June 18, 1911 in Recklinghausen ; † May 8, 1988 there ) was a German driving instructor.

Life

Werner Hilff was the owner of the Hilff driving school in Recklinghausen (later also in Marl ), which had existed since 1912 and was one of the first driving schools in Germany. From 1963 to 1974 he was chairman of the Federal Association of Driving Instructors' Associations . He was the driving force behind the creation of a stable legal basis for the profession of driving instructor, which in 1969 led to the passing of the Driving Instructor Act .

He died at the age of 76.
