Werner Kasztler

Werner Kasztler (born March 14, 1941 in Gols ) is an Austrian manager and consultant .

Life

His professional career began as a commercial and technical employee at Schrack Electronics. After a few years in managerial positions, Schrack Telekom AG was founded and Kasztler was appointed to the board. At the same time he took over the management of Schrack Datakom GesmbH, Schrack Aerospace GesmbH and Austria Telekommunikations GesmbH. In 1996 he became chairman of the Burgenland electricity industry. In 1998 he became CEO of Telekom Austria AG and Datakom Austria GesmbH. Due to his work in numerous institutions such as the Austrian Federation of Industry, the Chamber of Commerce , the Research Promotion Fund and the Austrian Standardization Institute, he was awarded the Golden Decoration of Honor in 2003 for services to the State of Vienna . He has also been an honorary senator of the Vienna University of Technology since 1996 .
