Werner Kiene

Werner Kiene (born October 10, 1923 in Bremerhaven ; † August 9, 2009 ibid) was a German politician , table tennis player , functionary and referee from Bremerhaven and a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Kiene was a trained civil engineer. From 1965 to 1990 he was a member of the board of the Verkehrsgesellschaft Bremerhaven AG and from 1980 to 1989 was also a member of the management of its parent company, the Bremerhavener Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH.

politics

Kiene was a member of the SPD in Bremerhaven-Lehe. From 1959 to 1980 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for 21 years and was active in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. He resigned from office in 1980.

Sports

He was a nationally good table tennis player and later a functionary and (from 1950) referee in the table tennis association.
