Werner Krüger (actor)

Werner Krüger (* unknown; † unknown; born probably in the 20th century) was a German actor .

Career

Werner Krüger was short and worked in various fairy tale films . After Krüger was seen in a smaller role as Kobold in the dream world in Fritz Genschow's Hansel and Gretel in 1954 , he played the title role in the fairy tale film Rumpelstiltskin in 1955, directed by Herbert B. Fredersdorf . In 1957 he took part in the fairy tale film Aufruhr im Schlaraffenland . In it he played the court scholar Astropollex. In 1959 Krüger was seen as one of the dwarfs in the two-part ARD Christmas fairytale film Snow White . In 1962 he played the role of Rumpelstiltskin for the second time, this time under the direction of Fritz Genschow, with whom he had already worked repeatedly. Further film appearances by Kruger after 1962 are still not documented today. Nothing is known about his biography either.

Werner Krüger must not be confused with the short actor Richard Krüger , who also worked in various fairy tale films for the Schongerfilm production company and DEFA .
