Werner Lampert

Werner Lampert (born October 7, 1946 in Feldkirch ) is an entrepreneur and book author. He is known as a "pioneer" for organic products.

Life

Werner Lampert is a trained church restorer and studied ancient oriental studies . Since the mid-1960s he has been dealing with biodynamic agriculture and anthroposophy . According to his own statement, it is Lampert's goal "to establish organic in connection with sustainability and to develop high-quality products that are sustainably produced and the creation of which is seamlessly traceable".

At the beginning of the 1980s he set up a wholesale business for organic food in Vienna. In 1994 he developed the organic brand Ja! For the Billa retail group . Of course, and was responsible for brand management and the development of quality standards for nine years. In 2006 he developed his own organic brand "Back to the Origin" for the Hofer retail chain . Lampert manages the organic Csardahof in Pama in Burgenland.

The Republic of Austria expressed its great appreciation for Werner Lampert's achievements in July 2019. Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen awarded him the professional title of Professor.
