Werner Liebschwager

Werner Liebschwager (born May 2, 1927 in Fulda ; † January 29, 2005 ) was a German football player .

The right-back began his career at Borussia Fulda and moved to TSV Straubing in 1950 in the southern relay of the II Division . In 1952 he joined VfB Stuttgart . In the Oberliga Süd he completed 133 games for VfB, in which he scored 1 goal. Liebschwager became German runner-up in 1953 after his first season with Stuttgart . In his second season at VfB, he won the DFB Cup in 1954 . After Liebschwager won the cup again with VfB in 1958 , he returned to Borussia Fulda.
