Werner Störk

Werner Störk (* 1950 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German teacher , author and native historian of the southern Black Forest . Störk has been awarded the German Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .

Life

Werner Störk was a teacher at the Friedrich-Ebert-Schule in Schopfheim from 1974 to 2012 . In 1992 he founded the archaeological and natural science-oriented school working group Minifossi of the secondary and secondary school students at the school. In 2004, under his leadership, the student group received the German Prize for Monument Protection (Silver Hemisphere), which has been donated by the German National Committee for Monument Protection since 1977. The working group was funded by the gifted scholarship of the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Together with his students he has the Rhine and the Rhine tributaries as far as Frankfurt to Gold investigated, while the largest Rheingold collection of the world put together. Another project was the discovery and documentation of a large number of entrenchments belonging to Margrave Ludwig Wilhelm von Baden-Baden, known as Turks Louis .

Since the dissolution of the Schüler AG in 2012, Störk has been dealing with the digital processing of various student projects in the fields of archeology, mining, fairy tales and legends, entrenchments and much more.

In 2014, after the end of the Schüler AG, he completed the Schatzstein project with his former research students , in which, after around 200 years, the meaning of the engraved characters in the Kreuzstein near Todtnau could finally be clarified.
