Western Paradise

Western Paradise is a community (village) in the Belize District in the Central American state of Belize . It was created in 2010 from the merger of the villages of Sunset Park, Western Pine and Westlake. Due to its location on the George Price Highway about eight miles west of the district capital Belize City , it is also known as the mile 8 community . At the 2010 census it had 1258 inhabitants.

There is a police station and a small medical station in the community. It was built with the help of a Christian support facility and is also used as a place for voting in elections.
