Weststernberger Kreiskleinbahn
The West Sternberger district light railway was an own establishment of the eastern part of the province of Brandenburg on the right bank of the Oder located circle Weststernberg based in Reppen .
It began in Kunersdorf ( Kunowice ) on the main line Frankfurt (Oder) - Posen and led in a south-easterly direction or upwards 23 kilometers to Ziebingen- Sandow, where the railway administration was based. The local paper mill and coal mines in the area were significant.
The single-track, standard-gauge small railway was opened on September 1, 1907. The state traffic office of Brandenburg led the operation .
On February 20, 1939, an additional bus line was opened from Frankfurt an der Oder to Ziebingen, which was served by two rented buses.
Rail traffic was continued by the Polish State Railways (PKP) after 1945 until the 1960s, with trains running on the main line to and from Reppen in contrast to pre-war operations.
