Wet 'n Wild
Wet 'n Wild is a US company that operates several water parks in the US and Brazil . Wet 'n Wild in 1977 by the founder of SeaWorld , George Millay , in Orlando , Florida , was founded.

Other parks have since been sold or closed:
- Orlando , Florida - operated by Universal Parks & Resorts, closed on December 31, 2016 and replaced with the Volcano Bay Waterpark, which opened in 2017.
- Garland , Texas - closed in 1993
- Arlington , Texas - was at Six Flags sold
- Las Vegas , Nevada - closed in September 2004
- Salvador da Bahia and Rio de Janeiro , Brazil - were closed
Wet 'n Wild Orlando
The Orlando water park was founded in 1977 by George Millay. It is one of the few water parks in the United States that is open all year round. On October 1, 1998, the park was sold to Universal Studios Florida . On May 11, 2004, the park was taken over by General Electric and is now part of the NBC Universal Group. The closure of the water park was announced on June 17, 2015 and officially closed on December 31, 2016, after 39 years. The Universal Studios Florida opened on May 25, 2017 new water park called Universal's Volcano Bay , which now Wet 'n Wild Orlando replaced and picks up some of the old attractions.
