The weather wall is a mountain over 1840 m high on South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It rises between the Ross and Spenceley glaciers at the northern end of the Salvesen Range .
The naming was made by participants of the German expedition to South Georgia led by Carl Schrader in the course of the First International Polar Year (1882-1883). The South Georgia Survey took surveys between 1951 and 1952. In English-speaking mountain under the name is The shiverer ( German The cold Erbebende ) and Smoky Wall ( German Smoky wall ) is known.
