Whitcomb Ridge is a high and icy mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Mountaineer Range, it rises 10 km southeast of Mount Supernal on the south side of the head end of the Gair Glacier .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after Jean P. Whitcomb, radiation researcher at McMurdo Station in two consecutive Antarctic Summer campaigns between 1965 and 1967.
