The place Meeker with the White River |
The White River ( English for "White River") is a left tributary of the Green River in the US states of Colorado and Utah .
The White River arises at the confluence of its two headwaters, the North Fork White River and South Fork White River, not far from the Big Beaver Reservoir in Colorado. It flows a distance of 194 miles west to Utah, where it joins the Green River. Between Meeker and Rangely extending Colorado State Highway 64 along the river of the White River. The catchment area of the White River covers 13,261 km². The mean discharge is 20 m³ / s.
