The Whyte River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

River course
The river has its source in the Magnet Range , about nine kilometers west of Waratah , and flows southwest. In the settlement of Luina he crosses the Mount Road . In the Pieman River State Reserve , it flows into the Pieman River at the Corinna settlement .
