The Wiar ( Ukrainian : Wihor / Вігор) is a right tributary of the San .

geography

The river has its source near the village of Jureczkowa ( Ustrzyki Dolne municipality ) in the Park krajobrazowy Gór Słonnych landscape protection park (in the Sanok-Turka Mountains ), flows first to the northwest, then to the east, finally turns to the north and flows after a run of around 70 , 4 km (of which 11.3 km in Ukraine ) length near Przemyśl in the San. It runs in part of its central reaches near Nyschankowytschi (Нижанковичі) in the Ukraine, otherwise in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . The catchment area is given as 798.2 km².
