The Wielka Turnia is a mountain in the Polish West Tatras at an altitude of 1350 meters. There is another peak in the Western Tatras that bears the same name. To distinguish it, it is often referred to as Wielka Turnia Małołącka .
Location and surroundings
The state border runs over the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains . The Gubalec is located north of the main ridge. North of the summit lies the Dolina Kościeliska valley , specifically its side gorge Wąwozu Kraków . The Dziura w Wielkiej Turni cave is located in its rock face .

The summit of Wielka Turnia is not accessible to hikers.
The Ornak Hut , Kondratowa Hut and Chochołowska Hut are ideal starting points for climbing the mountain passes around the summit from the valleys .
