The Wiesenwaldweiher is an approximately 12 a large pond in the urban area of Schramberg , Baden-Württemberg. It is located in the north-northeast of the mountain suburb of Sulgen on the border of the middle Buntsandstein and Röt at an altitude of around 680 m. The meadow forest pond is drained into the Göttelbach .

The meadow forest pond is an extensive natural monument . In the 1980s, in the course of the construction of the Sulgen bypass of the federal highway 462 , deep local political rifts arose, as it was feared that the ecological quality of the meadow forest pond could be seriously affected by the bypass.

In the past, the meadow forest pond was very popular with the children of the mountain suburb of Sulgen as a natural playground. The primary schools in Sulgen conducted lively and vivid local history lessons there until the mid-1970s.
