The Wii U Pro Controller is a Gamepad of the Japanese game consoles manufacturer Nintendo , which for use in conjunction with the Wii U is intended. It should serve as an alternative game controller to the Wii U GamePad and, according to Nintendo, primarily appeal to hardcore gamers.

Overview

Up to four Wii U Pro controllers can be connected to one Wii U. The connection is made wirelessly via Bluetooth . The built-in battery is the same as that of the Nintendo 3DS handheld console , has an output of 1300 mAh and GameStop is said to have a battery life of 80 hours. The controller can be charged via a mini USB socket and is available in white and black. It is the successor of the Wii Remote or the Wii Classic Controller Pro of the Wii and the predecessor of the Joy-Con or the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller of the Nintendo Switch .
