Wiktor Biegański

Wiktor Julian Biegański (born November 16, 1892 in Sambor , Galicia , † January 19, 1974 in Warsaw , Poland ) was a Polish actor , director and screenwriter .

Life

He learned the acting trade at the Drama School in Krakow . There he appeared as an amateur actor since 1907. This was followed by engagements in Lviv , Krakow and Lodz , where he also made his debut as a theater director. From 1919 to 1935 he lived in Warsaw. In 1935 he moved to Krakow. After the war worked at various theaters in Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Lublin. In 1955/56 he headed the Teatr Nowy w Warszawie in Warsaw . He died at the age of 81.
