Wiktor Teofil Gomulicki (born October 17, 1848 in Ostrołęka , † February 14, 1919 in Warsaw ) was a Polish writer.

Gomulicki grew up in Pułtusk . He attended grammar school there until 1866 and then studied law in Warsaw . He initially worked for Młoda Prasa , in 1875 he moved to the editorial office of the Courier Codzienny and published the satirical magazines Mucha and Kolce . On a trip to Venice and Paris in 1888, he collected materials for a biography of the poet Cyprian Kamil Norwid . 1889-1890 he was editor of the Tygodnik Powszechny .

In 1893 Gomulicki was awarded a first class medal and an honorary diploma by the Belgian Academy of Arts, Science and Literature . As a writer, he was best known for historical and youth novels. His novel Wspomnienia niebieskiego mundurka is still considered a classic of Polish youth literature . In the novel Ciury he portrayed the Warsaw literary scene in the second half of the 19th century. Gomulicki also published several volumes of poetry. In 1918 he was awarded the Eliza Orzeszkowa Prize for Literature .
