Viktor Wassiljewitsch Zyplakow ( Russian Виктор Васильевич Цыплаков ; born December 9, 1937 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Soviet - Russian ice hockey player who has worked as an ice hockey coach since the end of his career .

Career

Viktor Zyplakow played from 1955 for HK Lokomotiv Moscow in the top division of the Soviet Union and achieved third place in the championship with his team in 1961 . In 1967 and 1969 Lokomotiv Moscow won the Spengler Cup .

Between 1972 and 1974 he went on the ice for the EC KAC from Austria and scored 61 goals in 65 games for the EC. He also won the Austrian championship with the EC KAC in 1973 and 1974 .

After this success he returned to Moscow and played for Lokomotiv until 1976. By the end of his career, he completed 530 in the top division of the Soviet Union, in which he scored 263 goals.

In 1969 he received the honor of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR .

After his resignation he became an ice hockey coach and trained among other things Lokomotiv Moscow. Today he works as a youth coach at HK Spartak Moscow .

International

Zyplakov played for the Soviet national team at the Ice Hockey World Championship in 1961 , scoring a goal in five games and winning the bronze medal. In total, he made eleven international matches between 1960 and 1964.
