Viktor Zin
Wiktor Zin (born September 14, 1925 in Hrubieszów , † May 17, 2007 in Rzeszów ) was a Polish architect and draftsman. Zin was Deputy Minister for Art and Culture of Poland from 1977 to 1981 , in which capacity he was responsible for monument protection .
Life
Zin graduated from the Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza in Krakow , where he was employed until 1949. Later he worked at the Technical University of Cracow . In 1959 he received his doctorate ; In 1967 he was appointed Professor appointed .
Zin is known to the Polish audience from the television program Piórkiem i węglem , in which he drew monuments of Poland in front of the camera. He also moderated other programs on similar topics such as Być tutaj , Nad Niemnem, Piną i Prypecią , Nasze korzenie , Spotkanie z zabytkami , Spotkanie z prof. Zinem , Sztuka patrzenia .
Since 2004 Zin has been the deputy rector of the European Academy of Arts (Europejska Akademia Sztuk) in Warsaw . Zin is an honorary doctorate from Budapest University and has received numerous awards.
