Wilbert Hirsch

Wilbert Hirsch (* 1961 in Hamburg ) is a German composer , music producer for advertising and feature films and also worked in the field of music categorization . Since 1991 he has been the managing director of the music production company Hirsch Music / complete audio. Together with a partner Patrick, he founded the acg audio consulting group, Hamburg, in 2001 and advises companies on acoustic branding and acoustic corporate identity.

Acoustic branding and advertising

Hirsch deals with both the development of strategies for acoustic branding and the composition of acoustic identities. Among other things, he designed and implemented acoustic corporate identities for C & A, Dresdner Bank, Germanischer Lloyd, Tchibo and Commerzbank.

As part of the branding of Emirates Airline as sponsor of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, Hirsch supported the airline with a communication concept that integrated the existing acoustic logo into the music of the advertising appearances for this event.

Guest lectures

At specialist conferences and international events such as Popkomm (trade fair for music and entertainment in Berlin), the Munich Media Days (congress and accompanying trade fair on the subject of media) or the CEA Industry Forum San Diego (4-day conference), Wilbert Hirsch regularly appears as a guest lecturer or Participants in panel discussions.

research

In order to expand and deepen knowledge in the field of acoustic branding, Wilbert Hirsch supports numerous research projects. The content of the projects is the use of music and acoustic identities in different areas (e.g. personnel management) with the respective possibilities and restrictions.

Podcasting

Wilbert Hirsch has been one of the moderators of the Zero Hour podcast since 2018 . He moderates this together with Henning Vöpel and Oliver Roessling. The podcast deals with various topics with a focus on the digital era.
