Wilbrand von Schagen (* in the 15th or 16th century; † August 14, 1569 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Wilbrand von Schagen was the son of Rudolf von Schagen zu Norberding and his wife Anna von Elmendorff . On January 30, 1531 he is mentioned as a canon in Münster. Possession of the fief dompropsteilichen Overbeck he arrived in January 1535. Likewise was his obedience Ladbergen . The Propstei St. Martini in Münster came into his possession in 1546. Finally he became archdeacon in Vellern and Altlünen . As cathedral senior on March 29, 1569 he was also the representative of the late cathedral dean.
