The Wildpark Poing is a wildlife park located in the municipality of Poing . Wild animals and domestic animals, especially in Europe, are presented on a circular route.

The wildlife park, founded privately in 1959 on the eastern edge of Poing , is a popular excursion destination near Munich . After eleven years of preparatory work, the park was opened in 1970. On an area of 570,000 m², it offers year-round the opportunity to observe native game species up close. He was awarded the badge of the professionally tested German game reserve and the Bavarian Environmental Medal.
particularities
One of the main attractions is the birds of prey show , where various day and night birds of prey are presented. There is also a pony breeding farm , a playground with a picnic area, an educational forest trail and a wet biotope area .
Since the beginning of 2007, the brown bear Mia from Sweden has lived in a new enclosure in the park with her three "daughters" Maja, Mette and Molly.
