Wilfried Brandstötter

Wilfried Brandstötter (born March 22, 1970 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian tuba player .

Wilfried Brandstötter studied bass tuba at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna . He is a founding member of the Mnozil Brass group . From 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Klangforum Wien , a soloist ensemble for contemporary music. From 2000 to 2004 he was a solo tuba member of the “ Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich ”. In 2004 he was given the professorship for tuba at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz.
