Wilfried Diwischek

Wilfried Diwischek (born January 10, 1954 in Gründau , Hesse ) is a German economist and foundation correction , later President of Aschaffenburg University from 2001 to 2019.

Life

Wilfried Diwischek studied economics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and in 1988 with a thesis on the monetary market through a macro-econometric model for the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. rer. pole. PhD. He initially worked for the KfW Reconstruction Loan Corporation .

In 1995 he was appointed professor at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences in Aschaffenburg. In 2000 he became dean of the business administration and technology department. After founding the University of Applied Sciences in Aschaffenburg , he has been its first rector since 2001 and president since 2007. He was significantly involved in the new orientation towards the Aschaffenburg Technical University (TH Aschaffenburg) ; With the change of name to TH Aschaffenburg on March 15, 2019, he handed over his office to Eva-Maria Beck-Meuth as the newly elected President.

He is a member of the Association of Catholic Entrepreneurs (BKU) .
