Wilfried Schaumann

Wilfried Schaumann (born July 26, 1923 in Baden , † February 9, 1971 in Aitrang ) was a Swiss lawyer .

Life

Wilfried Schaumann attended the primary and district school in Wettingen and Baden from 1930 to 1938 and the canton school in Zurich from 1938 to 1942 . He studied law at the University of Zurich, where he obtained his doctorate iuris utriusque in 1948 . In 1950 he passed the Zurich bar exam. A year later, he earned a Master of Laws degree from Yale Law School . From 1952 to 1958 he was an assistant at the Law Department of the University of Zurich. In 1955 he received the venia legendi for constitutional and international law. In 1961 he followed the call to the law and political science faculty of the University of Würzburg as a full professor for public law, in particular administrative law and general administrative theory. In 1970 he followed the call of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Friborg as Professor of Constitutional and Administrative Law. He died in the Aitrang railway accident .
