Wilhelm Bachmann (politician, 1924)

Wilhelm Bachmann (born October 5, 1924 in Kassel ; † September 1, 1987 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Wilhelm Bachmann did an apprenticeship as a motor vehicle mechanic after finishing elementary and vocational school. He later worked as an auditor at the VW Baunatal plant . He was chairman of IG Metall and chairman of the works council .

Wilhelm Bachmann was a member of the SPD and in his party a member of the district committee and the workers' committee of the SPD Hessen-Nord. He was a member of the Hessian state parliament from December 1, 1970 to November 30, 1974.
