Wilhelm Baldus
Wilhelm Baldus (born June 17, 1918 in Münster ; † June 3, 2000 there ) was a German surgeon and medical professional politician .
Life
Born in Münster in 1918, he studied medicine at the universities of Münster, Berlin and Leipzig after graduating from high school. He passed the state examination in 1942 and received his doctorate in medicine in 1943 . After the clinical at hospitals in Essen and Osnabrück, he received recognition as a doctor for surgery in 1950.
From 1952 Wilhelm Baldus worked as a resident surgeon in Münster and from 1973 to 1989 he was president of the Westphalia-Lippe Medical Association .
