Wilhelm Biese

Wilhelm Biese (born April 20, 1822 in Rathenow ; † November 14, 1902 in Berlin ) was a German piano maker and manufacturer of internationally exported pianinos .

Born at the time of the Kingdom of Prussia and the beginning of industrialization , had William Tuck in 1851 "as a valued piano maker" in Berlin, who, with his established in the Prussian capital in 1853 factory specializing in the production of upright pianos and soon acquired an international reputation. Biese also built wings and was appointed purveyor to the court . The W. Biese grand piano and pianino factory was located at Weigandufer 18 in Neukölln , the sales rooms at Wilhelmstrasse 56 .

Use the product brand today

Pianos, which are now offered as new instruments under the name W. Biese , come from Chinese production.
