Wilhelm Blase (politician, 1876)
Wilhelm Blase (born November 17, 1876 in Bremen , † January 29, 1946 in Bremen) was a member of the Bremen Parliament ( SPD ).
biography
Family, education and work
Bladder was the son of a worker. He attended elementary school and then earned a job as a construction worker. After further professional training, he became a machinist and stoker in Bremen. In the First World War he served as a non-commissioned officer from 1914 to 1916 . In 1919 he was deputy head of the Bremen city defense ; From 1919 to 1924 he worked as an employee of the Bremen Food Commission for the fair distribution of food. In 1924 he worked for the statistical office for a short time and then from 1924 to 1933 as an employee of the Bremen savings center .
His son of the same name was the Bremen Senator for Construction Wilhelm Blase (1909–1994, SPD).
Like his son, Blase was buried in the Riensberg cemetery .
politics
Bubble became a member of the SPD and the union. In the early 1920s he was chairman of the MSPD in Bremen and then until 1930 district leader of the SPD in Bremen.
He was a member of the 1919-20 Bremer National Assembly and 1921-1930 member of the Bremen City Parliament . In 1906 he was also a co-founder of the social democratically oriented consumer association Vorwärts in Bremen.
