Wilhelm Dornseiff
Wilhelm Dornseiff (born October 12, 1843 in Holzhausen, † August 24, 1933 in Darmstadt ) was a German tax officer and politician .
Life
Born the son of a pastor, Dornseiff studied camera science in Giessen . During his studies in 1861 he became a member of the Gießen fraternity Germania . He became a financial accessist in Holzhausen, in 1872 a main customs office assistant at the main customs office in Worms and in 1873 at the main tax office in Mainz . There he became auditor in 1879, house tax office auditor in 1882 and financial assessor in 1885. In 1892 he became senior tax inspector at the main tax office in Darmstadt. In 1894 he became a lecturer council with the title of senior tax council in the Ministry of Finance and later the secret tax council . He was deputy authorized representative to the Federal Council . In 1919 he retired.
