Wilhelm Floto

Wilhelm Floto (born June 14, 1812 in Tangermünde , † February 22, 1869 in Braunschweig ) was a German pharmacist and comedy writer.

After training in a pharmacy, he studied chemistry at the Collegium Carolinum in Braunschweig and received first prize in a competition. After completing his studies, he became the administrator and later tenant of the homeopathic pharmacy in Braunschweig. Tied to the house by sickness, he wrote comedies in his spare time. After several strokes, Floto died at the age of 56.
