Wilhelm Gastinger
Wilhelm Gastinger (born October 10, 1929 in Rosenheim ) is a German politician ( CSU ).
Career
Gastinger attended elementary school and business school in Regensburg and joined the financial administration as an employee. After taking the exams for the middle and senior service in the Bavarian financial administration, he worked as a tax advisor in an assessment area and as the main area manager for sales tax at the Regensburg tax office.
From 1946 Gastinger was active in management bodies of the Junge Union and the CSU in Regensburg and the Upper Palatinate . He was a member of the Regensburg city council and chairman of the CSU city council group. From 1970 to 1986 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
