Wilhelm Goldhagen

William Goldhagen (* 9. March 1901 in Bokel (Pinneberg district) ; † 7. January 1964 in Hamburg ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Life and work

Goldhagen, the Lutheran faith was worked after school at the secondary school first as a farmer. From 1928 he studied law and economics in Hamburg and Kiel . In 1932 he passed the first state examination and in 1935 the major state examination. He then became department head in the state farmers' association in the province of Schleswig-Holstein . In 1943 he changed to the service of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg as department head and deputy managing director of the main food office.

In 1946 Goldhagen resigned from civil service and started his own business as a farmer.

Political party

Goldhagen joined the CDU after the Second World War. He was a member of the district executive in the Pinneberg district and the agricultural policy committee of the Schleswig-Holstein regional association .

Goldhagen was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 until his death .

He has always entered the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the Pinneberg constituency .
