Wilhelm Grebe (politician)

Friedrich Wilhelm Ferdinand Grebe (born November 9, 1805 in Helmscheid ; † April 1, 1879 there ) was a German economist and politician .

Grebe was the son of the farmer Johann Franz Wilhelm Grebe and his wife Elisabeth nee Drebes. He married Christiane Caroline Katharine Curtze on August 2, 1835 in Helmscheid. On July 4, 1858, he married Wilhelmine Charlotte Schäfer from Reelsen (Höxter district) for the second time in Helmscheind. Grebe lived as an economist in Helmscheid. In 1848 he was a state estate and from 1852 to 1855 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont for the constituency of Eisenberg .
