Wilhelm Johannson

Wilhelm Johannson (born September 6, 1937 in Hamburg ) is a German sports reporter and football commentator in the Bundesliga conference broadcast on the radio .

biography

He has been working for Radio Bremen since 1967 and worked together with Walter Jasper , who was often on duty with him. Johannson commented on over 150 Werder Bremen games in the Bundesliga. There were 56 in the DFB Cup. He was also used in 75 games in the European Cup. His most important was the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1992 between Werder Bremen and AS Monaco. He has been working for the Bundesliga conference since 1971 . Here he works in a five-person crew, including Walter Jasper.

In 2000 he worked as a radio reporter for the swimming pool in Sydney at the Olympic Games . Prior to that, he held the same position at the games in Munich (1972), Los Angeles (1984), Seoul (1988), Barcelona (1992) and Atlanta (1996). He reported on numerous world and European championships in swimming, athletics, amateur boxing and equestrian sports.
