Wilhelm Korth

Wilhelm Korth  (* 25. June 1967 in Recklinghausen ) is a German politician of the CDU . He has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2017 .

Life

After attending secondary school, Korth completed an apprenticeship as an agricultural machine fitter in 1983, which he completed in 1987 with the journeyman's examination as an agricultural machinery mechanic. Since 1987 he has worked as an administrator on a farm in Billerbeck .

Korth has been a member of the CDU since 2004 and chairman of the CDU local association Coesfeld since 2011. Since 2009 he has been a member of the City Council of Coesfeld. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , he was elected in constituency 79 (Coesfeld I - Borken III) as a direct candidate in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He won the constituency with 51.9% of the first vote . In the state parliament he is a member of the petitions committee and the committee for the environment, agriculture, nature and consumer protection.

Wilhelm Korth is married and has three children.
