Wilhelm Meyer (judge)

Wilhelm Meyer (born April 8, 1860 in Borgholzhausen , † November 15, 1931 in Braunschweig ) was a Senate President at the Imperial Court .

Life

The Prussian Meyer received his doctorate. He was sworn in in 1883. In 1888 he was appointed court assessor in Herford and later worked in Cologne. In 1893 he was appointed district judge in Bochum and in 1903 he was appointed district judge. His daughter Else , who later became wife Karl Hoppes, was born in Bochum .

In 1905 he was promoted to the higher regional judge in Hamm. In 1910 he came to the First Civil Senate of the Imperial Court in Leipzig as an unskilled worker . He was judge in 1912 in the III. Civil Senate . In 1924 he entered the VI as President of the Senate . Civil Senate over. He retired in 1928.
