Wilhelm Pickert

Wilhelm Friedrich Louis Christian Heinrich Pickert (born March 21, 1882 in Steinhude ; † April 5, 1964 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Wilhelm Pickert was born the son of a weaver. After attending school, he completed an apprenticeship as a weaver and then ran a weaving mill in Steinhude. Later he worked in the linen industry. In 1919 he was elected to the state parliament of the Free State of Schaumburg-Lippe , to which he belonged until 1931. During and after the Second World War he worked as an employee (tax collector) at the Steinhude community.

Wilhelm Pickert had been married since 1910.
