Wilhelm Remplbauer

Wilhelm Remplbauer (born May 12, 1933 in Ottnang am Hausruck , † June 9, 1992 in Linz ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and principal school director. Remplbauer was a member of the Federal Council from 1972 to 1975 and a member of the Austrian National Council from 1975 to 1990 .

After primary school in St. Marien, Remplbauer attended a secondary school in Linz and then the federal teacher training institute in Linz. He subsequently acquired the teaching qualification exams for elementary, secondary and special schools and then worked as an elementary school teacher in Neukematen , Achleiten and Traun . Afterwards Remplbauer worked as a secondary school teacher and teacher at the Polytechnic School in Ansfelden and finally became the main school director in Traun. Remplbauer was appointed high school supervisor.

Remplbauer was from 1973 to 1992 mayor of the community of St. Marien and within the party held the function of district chairman of the SPÖ Linz-Land. Furthermore, he was a member of the SPÖ state party executive and the state party presidium, a member of the federal party control and a member of the district school council and the social welfare committee Linz-Land. Remplbauer represented the SPÖ between February 22, 1972 and October 13, 1975 in the Federal Council and was a member of the National Council from November 4, 1975 to November 4, 1990.
