Wilhelm Rohwedder

Wilhelm Rohwedder (born August 24, 1898 in Großkönigsförde ; † March 3, 1987 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1958 to 1971 he was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein .

education and profession

After completing high school with the Abitur, Rohwedder completed an agricultural apprenticeship and studied at the Agricultural University in Berlin. He graduated with a degree in agriculture and then received a doctorate in agricultural science . He worked as a self-employed farmer in Beusloe .

politics

Rohwedder was the district administrator of the Oldenburg district . In the state elections in 1958, 1962 and 1967, Rohwedder was elected in constituency 31 (Oldenburg) as a direct candidate for the CDU in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament. He was a member of parliament from October 10, 1958 to May 15, 1971. In the state parliament, he was a member of the committee for work and construction, in the agricultural and interior committees. He was temporarily chairman of the transport committee.

On July 1, 1964, he took part in the fourth Federal Assembly, at which Heinrich Lübke was elected Federal President .

In 1964 Rohwedder was awarded the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
