Little is known about the life of Wilhelm Schechs von Pleinfeld. Possible place of origin is Pleinfeld . In today's Protestant parish church , the former Benedictine monastery church of St. Maria in Auhausen , there is an epitaph for him. As a relief, the deceased is depicted larger than life in official costume with a crook . The family coats of arms are on the side . The red marble slab is damaged.
