Wilhelm Schippert

Wilhelm Schippert (born November 24, 1907 in Walddorf , Oberamt Tübingen; † August 5, 1980 in Backnang ) was a German district administrator.

life and work

The son of a pastor attended the Eberhard-Ludwigs-Gymnasium Stuttgart . From 1922 to 1926 he attended the theological seminars in Schöntal and Urach . From 1926 to 1930 he studied law in Tübingen and Berlin. In 1930 and 1933 he passed the higher judicial service exams.

From 1930 he worked as a court trainee at the Stuttgart District and Regional Court and as a court assessor at the Ministry of Justice. From 1935 to 1939 he was a member of the government or senior government in the Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda in Berlin. From 1939 to 1945 Wilhelm Schippert took part in the Second World War. After the war he started as a publishing clerk from 1946 to 1949 and as a lawyer in Stuttgart from 1949 to 1956. In 1956 he was taken back into the public service as a councilor at the Ludwigsburg district office. In 1958 he became the first state official at the Schwäbisch Gmünd district office. From 1961 to 1972 he was then district administrator in the Backnang district .
