Wilhelm Tripp

Wilhelm Tripp (born October 9, 1835 in Hadamar ; † September 28, 1916 in Limburg an der Lahn ) was a German clergyman, city pastor and cathedral capitular in Limburg.

Life

Johann Wilhelm Tripp attended high school in Hadamar and was ordained a priest in Limburg in 1859. Then he was chaplain administrator in Eltville and chaplain in Schlossborn , Oberlahnstein and Wiesbaden . In 1868 he became a religion teacher at the Wiesbaden high school, in 1871 parish administrator and in 1873 pastor of Oberursel . In 1887 he was appointed parish priest of Limburg and a member of the local cathedral chapter . As such, he was on the list of nominations for the succession of the late Bishop Karl Klein in 1898 .

His grave in the part of the Limburg cathedral cemetery reserved for the canons has been preserved.
