Wilhelm "Willy" Wilhelmi , actually Wilhelm Kümmerer ( July 12, 1850 in Olomouc - January 24, 1928 in Altona ) was a German theater actor .
Life
Wilhelm, the son of a businessman, whose decision to become an actor had been made since his youth, first entered a banking business.
He made his debut on June 1, 1870 in Teplitz-Schönau , Bohemia . Afterwards he was at the Strampfertheater in Vienna, in Salzburg, at the Viktoriatheater Berlin as successor to August Weihrauch , at the Deutsches Theater in Pest , from 1876 to 1880 in Breslau at the Lobetheater zu Adolph L'Arronge , from 1880 to 1886 at the Residenztheater in Berlin and from 1887 at the Altona City Theater to Bernhard Pollini , where he made his debut on September 1, 1886 in Gustav von Moser's comedy Der Hypochonder and remained until his death on January 24, 1928, after 60 years of stage work and almost 42 years at the Altona City Theater.
