Wilhelm Wimmer (economist)

Wilhelm Wimmer (born September 15, 1931 in Rottenburg an der Laaber ) is a German economist.

Career

Wimmer completed his studies with a degree in economics and received his doctorate in 1959 with a law topic. He was ministerial director and head of the SME department in the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport . He was involved in the Lions Club Munich - Arabellapark as a founding member and was there a. a. 1975–1976 legal advisor. From 1980 to 1997 he was general manager of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria .

He was chairman of the broadcasting council of Bavarian radio and chairman of the supervisory board of Bayerische Rundfunkwerbung.
